Helpful App for Autistic Children
Jam Up!
This is currently an ongoing project for me, but it first started in 2024. Yellow Mouse Studios approached me and asked if I wanted to help create assets for a new app in development. The app: Jam Up, is designed to help autistic children with daily tasks, such as getting dressed, brushing their teeth etc.
On this project I’ve been illustrating a lot of the assets, such as items of clothing and backgrounds for tasks. The assets that will be used in the games needed to be outlined with a darker outline, to ensure everyone will be able to make out details regardless of their vision etc.
Overall this project is teaching me a lot about creating illustrations and designs for people who may have difficulty seeing details and making simple things like a t-shirt look more colourful and interesting! I’m looking forward to creating more assets for this project in the future.
